The crowd in Heaven watched as the Sixth angel threw his bowl of liquid into the great river Euphrates and the water immediately ceased flowing.
"Look at the soldiers," Ben said to John who sat next to him in the Heavenly arena. "200,000 in Japan alone."
They watched as the enormous army used the river bed of the Euphrates to travel to Jerusalem.
"Over there is the Roman Empire and the Anti-Christ." Ricky sat next to Ben.
"And here comes the Babylonian forces," David added.
Before their eyes soldiers from every part of the world traveled by plane, by truck, by train toward the Valley of Megiddo.
"The time is very short now." Eli sat near them. "I am used to waiting for I waited many years to go back the last time, but I'm eager to finish the battle."
"Me too," Ben agreed. "I told Joseph I'd come back with Jesus and I'm anxious to see him."
"Oh, I can hardly wait," Cindy said.
King Arams walked on the veranda that went around his castle in the city of Babylon. "My city is more beautiful than Jerusalem," he said to his partner.
"Yes, King," Lucias agreed. "Look at the temples to the gods that we have built, how they rise to the Heavens."
Arams looked at the temple that had been built to the god Marduk. "The tourists pay many dollars to see these temples."
"Ha, Ha," Lucias laughed. "Some of them stay here and serve the great god Marduk."
"The slave business is good, but someone is keeping part of the money," King Arams sneered. "I am waiting for the report now."
A knock on the door interrupted them. Lucias opened it.
"There's treachery at hand," a servant said. "The traitors are taking part of the profits."
"Just as I suspected." King Arams stomped to the door of his office. "Miss Riley," he cried. "Call all the presidents of the States for a meeting immediately."
"Yes, sir," Miss Riley's voice shook as Arams slammed the door.
"I will destroy this city before I'll let someone else take it over." King Arams paced back and forth.
"Of course, King," said Lucias. "It was you who built it and you certainly are entitled to destroy it."
It was an impressive meeting, for all of the Presidents of the world were seated around the huge table as King Arams sat at the end behind piles of gold that he and his helper Lucias were counting. His eyes squinted with anger as they finished.
"This is not all of the gold," he said calmly.
"Yes, it is," President Huessin smiled evilly. "Business was slow last week King."
"No," President Arams stood up. "There has to be more."
"No, King Arams." The leader of Iran shook his head. "The slave trade has fallen off and that is your 90%. Business has been bad lately."
"Very well." King Arams put the gold in a suitcase to take to the safe. "You are excused."
The meeting broke up as everyone made their way to the bar. Arams left to attend the next meeting.
"After all I have done for them this is the way I am repaid." King Arams paced back and forth, his usual calm was gone as he stood in front of the Presidents of the United Roman Nations. "I have put spies out and they are keeping a large part of the profit. We will blast them off of the face of the earth."
The ten presidents who sat in front of him cheered the news, as the Anti-Christ swung his fist high in the air.
"Babylon, that filthy traitorous city that I personally built into the greatest and wealthiest city in the world, and the other nations that have rebelled against me -- er -- us." The blue veins in King Arams' neck stood out, his eyes were wild with fury. "Will this day be wiped off of the face of this earth."
"Let's do it," shouted President Monnet of France. The vote was unanimous as all of the other presidents agreed.
So it was that planes and missiles were launched only a few days later against the enormous capital city of Babylon.
The City was completely taken by surprise and in just one hour the once great city of Babylon was filled with smoke. There was nothing anyone could do to save it, and the other people of the world stood back and cried for their luxury. Babylon was completely and totally demolished.
The Presidents of the countries outside of the Roman Empire mourned for the loss of the great and wealthy city.
The word spread quickly throughout the Heavens. It was time for the Saints to return with Jesus to finish the battle.
"We're going," David shouted happily.
"It's time to get Joseph," Ricky cried.
"And Mom and Dad," Cindy yelled as they all mounted the beautiful white horses that Jesus had given them.
"This is the war of Armageddon," Ben said. "At last we will be able to fight with the Lord."
"Look," said Grandfather as he pointed to a white horse at the front. On the white horse sat the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
"Are you ready, Army of Heaven?" Jesus cried.
"We are ready," the Army of Saints shouted.
"Does anyone want to stay behind and not join the battle?"
Silence was the only answer. No one wanted to miss this wonderful day when Christ finally took His rightful place as Ruler of the Universe. Jesus shouted the command.
"Charge," the Lord of all led His armies out of the Heavens to confront the startled Anti-Christ and his forces of evil.
The battle was fast and furious, it was soon over as each Saint held a sword and cut down the evil soldiers.
"What was that noise?" cried Sally as she put her hands to her ears. Lightning struck close and the ground split next to her. Giant hail fell from the sky.
"Curse you Jesus," she cried as she clung to the soldier who had executed her brother. Foul words came from her mouth, the last words she would ever say as a one hundred pound boulder of ice tumbled on her head and she fell screaming. The ground crumbled beneath her. She cursed God as she fell into the earth. The dirt shifted and buried her beneath it.
The buzzards of the world swarmed to the bodies as Jesus turned to the Saints and called them.
"We will now proceed to Petra and our faithful witnesses," He said. In a short time they pulled their flying horses into the camp of the Israelis and the witnesses.
Jesus greeted the living remnant with the words they had so long waited for: "Well done, thou good and faithful servants," He said.
Ben's parents were there and he ran to embrace them.
"Thank you son," Mr. Eshkol said. "When I think of how mean I was to you, I'm so glad you are as stubborn as I am."
Ben laughed. "It's over now, Dad. We're going home."
"Joseph," cried David and Ricky as they jumped off of their shining white horses to hug the startled young man.
"David, Ricky." Joseph shook his head, as if he were dreaming.
"Mom, Dad," Cindy ran to Frank and Debbie, tears were running down their faces as she hugged them.
"Now we will be together for all of eternity," said Grandmother.
"For eternity," the happy families sang together.
