"The Master has called a meeting of all who have loved ones left on earth," the Angel messenger told Cindy.
"It must be some news from home," Ricky said as the family flew to the amphitheater for the meeting. They were all filled with excitement and anticipation, wondering what Jesus would say.
Gabriel led the service in prayer before he turned the meeting over to the Savior, who had been sitting quietly beside him.
"Thank you for coming," Jesus said as he stood before them. "I know you are all anxious for word of your loved ones, and I wanted to let you know that Jacob's troubles are about to take place. It has been three and a half years since you left earth, and the time has come for Satan to be expelled from the Heavens. Satan and his angels have had access to one part of Heaven, but I have instructed Michael and his angels to rid heaven of the evil angels. This will make the Devil very angry and when he gets to earth he will wage war against my Saints."
"What does that mean?" Cindy asked her grandmother.
"I'm not sure," Grandma whispered. "But I'm sure the Savior will explain."
The huge amphitheater was abuzz with excitement for this was the moment they had all been waiting for, the time that Satan was thrown out of Heaven.
"Do not worry about your loved ones," Christ raised His hand and the audience instantly quieted down as He continued to talk. "They are in my hands. Even now many of them are realizing the error of their belief in the Anti-Christ and are turning to me for protection."
"I wish we could see them," David said.
"Because of the great things that are happening on earth I am going to lift the veil for a time so that you can watch what is going on in Heaven and on earth. At the last of the tribulations you will go with me to earth to fight the final battle against evil and to bring your loved ones home with us."
"I can hardly wait for the final battle," Ricky said. "Jesus will issue each of us a sword and we can help fight," Grandfather said.
"And then Mom and Dad will be here," Cindy said happily. "I can hardly wait."
"And Joseph," David said.
Suddenly the mist that had settled below them cleared and they were able to watch and hear what was going on in the Heavens and the earth.
"It's even better than a play," Cindy said. "Or a movie."
"That's because it's real," Grandmother agreed. "Look," Ricky pointed at the evil angels struggling against Michael and the good angels. Swords clashed as they fought each other.
"You won't get rid of me that easy," Satan jeered at Michael as their swords crashed against each other. He jabbed at Michael's throat with his weapon. "I'm not leaving Heaven."
"Look out, Michael," David cried, as two other evil angels crept up behind Michael. "Behind you, quick." The huge archangel turned suddenly and struck a strong blow at the gray angel sneaking behind him. Michael took the sullen angel by surprise and the sword went through his dirty body. He screamed and seemed to disintegrate, as Michael jumped quickly to strike at the other imp, cutting his head off. He turned to face Satan.
Cindy felt as if she wanted to hide her eyes as she watched the fierce struggle that filled the Heavens as good and bad angels dueled. Swords shone in the sunshine and sometimes it was difficult to watch everything at once, even with their perfect eyesight.
But suddenly the battle was over and Satan and his evil crowd were falling swiftly to earth their screeching and yelling filling the air.
"Woe, woe to the inhabitants of earth," a messenger angel flew after the losing team. "Because the devil has gone down to you. He is filled with fury because he knows that his time is short."
"Look," Cindy cried as the scene changed to a group of people on earth. "It's Mom, and Dad."
"And there's Joseph," David shouted.
"Look," Grandma said softly, "They're kneeling, and accepting Christ."
They listened as the Kahns asked Jesus into their hearts and then they cheered loudly.
They were able to see the protecting angels that went with them and saw the two witnesses who were shot and killed by the soldiers.
"Ooh," Cindy cried, as a group of deformed gray creatures started gathering around and clapping their hands. "Look at those ugly creatures. But there's Michael and his group now."
"That's the way," David cheered as an angel hit one of the vile imps with his sword. The fight was fierce in the atmosphere around the Israeli Christians.
The whole amphitheater was alive as Michael and his strong band of angels fought the Devil and his band of evil angels.
"They wouldn't worry if they could see how much help they have," Grandmother said. "The angels outnumber the devil and his crew, three to one."
"The fallen angels are weak because of evil living," Grandfather said.
"I'm so anxious to see our family again," Cindy said.
"We must get their rooms finished," Grandmother said. "The time is getting short."
"I feel as if I had been doing the battling myself, but I hate to leave," Cindy said as they prepared to leave the heavenly arena.
"Can we come back?" David said as they got up to leave.
"We'll be here often," Grandfather promised. "Now that the veil is lifted and the time of Jacob's trouble is here."
