The Little Pig

This Mama pig went to church one day. She liked to sing songs and talk to Jesus.

Mama pig went to church

Her little piglet was very naughty. He had been unruly all morning.

"I don't want to go to church," he said. "I don't like to sing and I don't like to talk to Jesus." He stamped his feet. "And," he added. "I have a tummy ache."

Mama Pig was very sad. She hoped little Piglet would want to go to church but he stayed home to sleep.

Little Pig stayed home to sleep

As soon as she was gone he went out to run and play

.The little pig went out to run and play

"This is a lot more fun than going to church," the little pig said as he ran and jumped, rolled in the mud and generally had a good time -- until -- until --

The Little Piglet didn't see the man who sneaked up behind him until it was too late.

I'll take you home to barbecue

"You look delicious," the bad man said as he grabbed him. "I'll take you home to barbecue. My family loves bacon and pork chops."

"Wee, wee, wee," cried the little pig. "I wish I'd have gone to church. If I get out of this without being cooked for dinner I'll never be naughty again."

The little pig squirmed and scooted and squirmed and wiggled until the man lost his grip and dropped him.

"Run," the Little Piglet told himself and he ran as fast as his little pig legs would take him.

He ran as fast as his little pig legs would take him

The first building he saw was the church.

"If I can just make it into the building," the little pig said. "I might be safe." He was out of breath from running so fast.

They were praying

He was so happy to find his mother and the other pigs. They were praying.

"I'm sorry I was naughty," Little Pig cried as he ran to his Mama.

"I was praying for you, Little Piglet," Mama Pig said.

"I was scared you wouldn't be here," Piglet cried. "Or you wouldn't love me anymore because I was so naughty."

"Oh, piglet," Mama Pig said. "You are still my little piggy. I could never stop loving you"

Mama Pig was happy to see her Piglet back where he belonged. They went home and had a good lunch.

The Little Pig never ran away again.

God will never stop loving us.
He might be sad because we disobey Him but he still loves  us.
