Radio Station KWBI is a non-commercial Christian radio station that began broadcasting from Morrison, Colorado on March 21, 1971. The station has numerous translators and satellators and is heard throughout Colorado and southern Wyoming.

The Thanksgiving Outreach began as a KWBI staff venture in 1981. Forty families were fed that year. Since that time it has grown and now many people who would have little or no Thanksgiving dinner are fed yearly in this method.

Compa Food Ministry agency serves and supports neighborhood agencies that help the needy. COMPA provides food for more than 4,500 families every week of the year. The Thanksgiving Outreach is the largest holiday feeding program in the Rocky Mountain Region. KWBI and Compa Food Ministry with their listeners feed around 15,000 people. Food baskets containing potatoes, yams, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, dessert, turkey certificate and much more are delivered to the needy. Over 5,000 volunteers help in this effort.
